In overtime, the Canadiens surprised by winning 4-3 over the Predators.

The Nashville Predators' impressive winning streak is over, as they somewhat surprisingly lost in overtime (4-3) on Tuesday night to the Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens, in turn, secured a much-needed victory in an otherwise challenging season, and perhaps they can finish the regular season on a positive note in the last games against the Hurricanes. The Canadiens are at 24-28-10 for this season and have not had the season they hoped for, but this win should boost morale for the team.

Not surprisingly, Nick Suzuki became the match-winner; he has been the standout performer for the Canadiens this season and is also the top scorer for the team.
